ABOUT THE OWNER

After spending over 24 years in the investment management industry, Christine decided to dive into a business that would utilize her artistic side and her love for color. 

 

The seed was planted during a weekend away with her sisters in Vermont, where they attended a wooden sign-painting class at a paint-your-own-pottery studio.  And the rest is history!

During the initial search for studio space, Christine also had fun exploring resin art, fluid acrylics, and alcohol inks.  After opening the walk-in PYOP studio, she began selling her creations in the studio too.

 

After 5 years of operating a walk-in studio, she's now transitioning to a home studio to be able to focus more on hand building pottery from stoneware clay slabs! In addition to making pottery on a commission basis, Christine will continue to offer offsite creative classes as time and opportunity permits.
