Clay Hand Building: Textured Oval Platter
We will show you how to make a 9.5-inch by 11-inch textured stoneware platter! A few weeks later, after dried and bisque-fired, come back at your convenience to paint with stoneware glazes, and we'll fire it again. Ready for pickup 7-10 days after painted!

About the event
We are so excited to host another clay handbuilding class -- this time with stoneware clay! We will show you how to make your version of this 9.5-inch by 11-inch textured oval platter. You will choose from many available textured rolling pins. Class size will be limited for social distancing, but there will be some use of shared tools.
The ticket cost covers instruction, materials, bisque firing, and a second visit at your convenience to paint your plate using stoneware glazes before the glaze firing. The drying process and first firing will take a few weeks -- the plates will be ready for pickup about 7-10 days after you complete the glaze painting. (Shipping is available for additional fee.)
